Pozo    October 2020

The 2020 Misadventurers was held at the Lodge at Oak Creek Ranch in Pozo, Ca  on October 22 to 25.   link is    https://www.oakcreeklodge.com/   A virtual reveal meeting was held due to the corona virus.   The before party was held at the Sheldon's house. The picures are here.

The weather was fine for the first three days with rain on Sunday night an Monday morning.  The power went out at 208 am Monday morning.  the group picture is below.

Wine Tasting

The first event was wine tasting from the COWBOY WINERY in Pozo. Lots of different wines served at the pool house. The pool was not heated, but was a great background for the event. It was a short walk from the main lodge. Here is the link to the pictures.

HIKE

The nest morning at 10 oclock, a hike of about 3 miles was held starting from the lodge. We first went to the Glass House, about 100 feet above the lodge, whrere the sunrise and sunset could be viewed. Then down around the property and back to the lodge. Here is the link to the pictures.

GOLFING

A group went golfing and one person made a hole in one. I have no pictures.

FOOD

The food was prepared in the large kitchen and was delicious. Here is the link to the pictures.

POZO SALOON

The town of Pozo consists of the saloon, Cowboy Winery and a Forest Service facility. We ate at the Pozo Saloon Sunday night, eating outside in the facing light. After dinner line dancing instruction was held inside the saloon. Here is the link to the pictures.

WHITE ELEPHANT

The white elephant event was held the last night and was greatly enjoyed by all. The link to the pictures is here.

OAK CREEK LODGE

The lodge consisted of three building. The pool house, barn, and main building. Most of the activities here held in the main building. People slept in all three buildings. The link to the pictures is here.
